Greybeard Treehouse
Greybeard is a thrill indeed, with three levels to climb! The first level is made completely out of netting and rope so it has the effect of being a large swinging hammock. The second and third floors of the treehouse are 14′ circles that are stabilized with cables and have netting for walls. With hollow logs for eyes, old manila rope for hair and a sliding board as another way to get down to the ground, Greybeard is a fine-lookin’ lad, full o’ charm and a right pleasure to have in yer crew! 🏴☠️
There are a series of bridges leading to the kids’ play area called the Pirate’s Cove. We crafted 2 tunnels through the hedge row on the south side of the Pirate’s Cove, and there are 3 other pathway entrances on the east, north, and west. These are great for games of tag and make the wooded area feel like a secret garden. The area is mostly shaded, which is a nice relief on hot summer days.
