Amy Wright

Amy Wright, the founder of the Homeschool Enrichment Program, is no stranger to the world of alternative schooling. She became a homeschool student in 1988 when it first became legal within the state. She continued homeschooling through her high school graduation in 1998. Some of Amy's favorite parts of homeschooling were hands-on learning and attending summer camp. She graduated from Cairn University in 2012 with a degree in camp leadership. While pursuing that degree, she spent time studying at Wisconsin Wilderness Campus, Jerusalem University College, and Camp Forest Springs. Amy and her husband have three boys whom they have homeschooled, cyber schooled, and hybrid schooled over the year. They believe it is essential to evaluate all the opportunities available to each child each year to find the right social and educational fit. Amy loves taking her family on adventures, including backpacking and their annual canoe camping trips! She has enjoyed including her kid's friends in fun learning activities and experiences because she desires to inspire others to love learning.
